誕生日とは、私にとって、「自分で自分をコントロールできなくなる日」が、確実に近づいていることを、実感する日であるからです。

A birthday is a day for me to realize that "a day when I can not control myself" is surely approaching.

ぶっちゃけて、言いますけど ――

歳を取って、自分で自分をコントロールできなくなった親の姿は、いずれやってくる自分自身の姿です。

The appearance of parents who become old and can no longer control themselves are figures of mine in the future.

で、多分、そこからは、私を含めて誰も逃げられない。

So, maybe no one can escape from the fact.

普段から、世間様に対して、エラそな事を言ったり、書いたりしている私は ――

From everyday, I who am saying or writing elusive things to the world,

いずれ、どこからの誰かに「自分の排泄物の処理」をして貰いながら生きていくことになる。

will live while receiving "treatment of my excrement" by someone somewhere.

『自分だけは特別。私だけは、みっともなくない人生のラストを飾れる』 なんて、そんな都合の良いことが起こる訳がありません。

"Only I am special. Only I can complete the last of life that is not miserable". There is no reason why such favorable things happen for you.

「元気な御老人」と言われている人だって、最終的には「自分で排泄物の処理のできない御老人」となります。

Even those who are said to be "healthy old people" will be ultimately "an old man who can not handle excrement on our own".

そして、その期間が長ければ長いほど、自分の醜態が晒し続けられ、そして、その状態は多くの人の(特に身内の)大きな負担となります。

The longer the period is, the longer our abomination continues to be exposed, and the heavier the state is a burden of many people (especially of the people).
