学生の頃、アルバイトで家庭教師をやっていました。
When I was a college student, I was a tutor at a part-time job.
家庭教師は時間当りの収入が良いと言われて、(多分)今でも学生に好まれていると思うのですが、今こそ、私は声を大にして言いたい。
It is said that tutor get good income per hour. So (probably) I think that many college students are in favor with this part-time job, however, right now, I want to say with big voice.

実際に計算すれば分かるのですが、先ず、家庭教師、塾講師は効率が悪いのです。

連続労働時間が短いので、所定の場所に行くまでの時間など換算すると、単位時間あたりの単価は、決して高くないです。
Since continuous working hours are short, The unit price per unit time is not expensive at all, when converting the time to go to a predetermined place, etc.,
そして、家庭教師ができるような人は、そこそこ有名な大学の学生であることが多いと思いますが、そのような人は、原則として「頭が良い」です。
And those who can work as a tutor are often students of a famous university. and such a person is "smart" in principle.
ですので、そのような『頭の良い人』は、

の存在を、理解できない。
そういうことに慣れていない『頭の良い人』は、子どもが「不真面目」であるとか「自分が舐めている」とか、そちらの方に思考が行ってしまうのです。
The "smart person" who is not accustomed to such a situation, comes to think "this child is "unfaithful" or "I am licking"
だから、子どもに対して思わず「声を荒げてしまう」家庭教師や塾の講師が登場してくる訳です。

人に何かを教える人が、第一に覚えなければならないことは、
The first thing that a person who teaches something to persons, are
「多くの子どもにとって、『勉強は苦痛』である」
"Studying is a pain for many children"
という冷徹な事実と、

「人に何かを教える行為は、それ自体が『虐待』にすら成り得る」
"the act of teaching something to a person becomes even "abuse" itself"
という、徹底した現状認識です。
