以前にもお話しましたが、私は「まんがライフ」「まんがライフオリジナル」という4コマ誌の2誌を、かなり昔から定期購読しています。

Previously I wrote that I have subscribed to two Four-Frame comics, "Manga Life" and "Manga Life Original" from old days.

2誌に限定しているのは、それ以上増やしたら、キリがないからです。

The reason why I limit to read these two comics, is to stop endless subscriptions any more.

ところで、最近、ちょっと困っていることがあります。

By the way, I am annoying a little recently.

表紙です。

It is their cover.

この4コマ誌は、発刊当時、植田まさしさんの男性が主人公の表紙でした。

At the time of the first publication, a cartoonist, Masashi Ueda-san's character was be on the cover.

その後、田島みるくさん、南ひろ子さん、丹沢恵さんと、女性マンガ家が担当されることになるその絵柄は、少しずつ可愛い女性の絵になっていきました。

After that Tajima Miruku-san, Minami Hiroko-san, Tanzawa Megumi-san, are woman cartoonist took charge of the cover, and the characters became prettier.

そして今、神仙寺瑛さんが担当されています。

Now, Shinsenji Akira-san is in charge of the cover.

このマンガ家さんが描く「動物のおしゃべり」という漫画は、とても面白く、毎月楽しみにしているのですが、問題なのは、表紙に出てくる主人公の女の子が

"The animal's chat" is very amusing, and I am looking forward to reading this comic very month. But there is one problem for me. The main character of this comic is

―― 可愛い幼稚園児の女の子

"A pretty girl of kindergartener"

という点です。

まあ、見て頂きましょう。

この雑誌をレジに持ち運ぶ、中年男の気恥しさたるや、ハンパではありません。

It is extremely shame for a middle-age man, to bring this comic at the cash desk.

若いネーチャンの立っているコンビニのレジに、えげつないエロ本を持っていく方が、まだ気持ちがラクなくらいです。

I feel easier that I takes a vulgar pornbook at the cash register where a young girl works.

私は「児童ポルノに関する法律」そのものには反対していませんが、この法律の無制限の拡大解釈が進めば、このような本をレジに持っていく男性は、すべて「通報の対象」になるという未来が来るかもしれません。

Though I don't object to a "law thing about the child porno" now, all of the man who bring such a comic to the register, is going to be captured in jail, if the unlimited broad interpretation of this law advances.

―― まあ、それならそれでも良いのですが。

Well, then it is all right for me.
