以前にもお話しましたが、私は「通勤途上災害」を起こしたことがあります。

Previously I told you that I had an commuting accident.

一昨年の下期、数百人の所員の中で、この災害の対象となったのは二人。

The second half of the year before last, just two persons of several hundred researchers had the commuting accident.

私はその中の一人でした。

I was one of these two.

この件に関して、私は誰からも一言の叱責を受けませんでした。

On this matter, I have not received a word of reproach from anyone.

■暫くの間、松葉杖で出社します

■良いケガと悪いケガ

"Good wound and bad wound"

K君：「ですけど、それは、江端さん一人からの申立ですよね」

K:"However the source was reported from you, Ebata-san only"

江端：「そうだけど？」

Ebata:"Yes?"

K君：「江端さん以外、その事件の経緯、誰も証明できませんよね」

K:"Nobody knows the truth of the accident"

江端：「・・・え？」

Ebata:"What?"

私の周りには、こういう後輩の同僚(後僚)が、やけに多いのです。

There are a lot of junior colleagues like him around me awfully.

以前、この事件で、後僚から以下のように言われました。

One of the junior colleagues said the following,

江端さんは、

"Ebata-san was

(1)空のベビーカーを追いかけただけ。

- just chasing the empty stroller.

(2)かりにベビーカーの中に赤ちゃんがいたとしても、結果としてはその赤ちゃんを救うことはできなかったハズ。

- not able to save a baby even if the stroller is not empty. (because I could not keep running anymore by the wound.)

(3)結論として、江端さんは、誰も救っておらず、単に「自爆」しただけ

- In conclusion, Ebata-san didn't save anybody, and bowed himself.

―― まあ、確かにそりゃそうなんですけどね。

"O.K. You are right."

―― 研究者としては、正しい見方だけどね。

"From the view of a research engineer, your vision is nothing to be desired."

―― 愛がねーだろうが、愛が。

"However, where is your love and sympathy going?"

で、話を戻しまして

Let me go to the subject.

K君：「江端さん、さすがです」

K:"Ebata-san, well done!"

江端：「何が？」

Ebata:"For what?"

K君：「シニアエンジニアとしての、全スキルを発揮した、素晴しい報告です」

K:"Your report was the best of all, that was including your all skills you have had."

江端：「はい？」

Ebata:"What?"

K君：「ブログ、上司への報告、事後処理、そして風評コントロール(エスピオナージ)、どれを取っても完璧です! 尊敬します!!」

K:"Your blog, report to your boss and rumor control (espionage). Everything was perfect! I do respect you again."

K君は、私に親指を立てて、キメ顔で言いました。

He thumbs up to me, with proud face.

という訳で、某企業の研究所で、私の英雄的行為は、詐欺行為にまで堕とされています。

Anyway, in a company research laboratory, my act of heroism has been to the fraud.
