先日、ベイズ推定を、複雑な事象に対応する為の手法である、ベイジアンネッ トワークのツールの講習会に行ってきました。

The other day, I went to attend a lecture of Bayesian network that can give us solution for complicated problem, based on Bayesian estimation.

どんなに少ないデータ(事前確率)からでも、何がしかの推論結果（事後確率）を必ず叩き出すこの手法は、私の性格に合っています。

The method seems to be suitable for me, because it is possible to make some outputs except for poor data.

私はコラムを執筆する上で、様々なデータを使わなければならないのですが、個人で集められるデータの数など、本当に知れています。

As far as I am concerned, I have to use several types of data in order to write columns. But the counts of data I could collect are nothing serious.

コラムの中で登場した、将来の人口予測、出生率予測、未婚率予測、どれも、私が、雀の涙のようなデータと、思い切った仮説から、―― 少なくとも「私が、私自身をだませるという程度」にまで ―― 算出したものです。

However I have shown you population forecast, birthrate forecast and Unmarried rate forecast, these are calculated based on small data and my original hypothesis until "I can deceive me"

ですから、官公庁とかNHKとかが、「1700人から得られたアンケート結果を・・・」とかいうセリフを聞くと、

So, when I heard the sentence "According to the survey results from 1,700 people ....” I really think in rage

―― 代々木のNHKホールに、火、かけたろか

"I will fire the NHK Hall at Yoyogi"

というくらい、不快な気分になります。

■官公庁もNHKも、データ収集には、洒落にならない程の金をかけていると思います。

- I think that both government offices and NHK have spent much money for collecting data.

■ですから、それらのデータをおいそれと公開できないのは、理解できます。

- So I can understand that they don't open the data easily.

―― などと、私が言うと思うか？

Do you really think that I could say the above?

■それって、我々の血税や受信料で作ったデータだろう？

"Those data is collected by money of our tax and TV fee isn't they"

■なんで開示しないんだ？

"Why do you keep close them?"

―― って思いますよ。あたりまえですよ。

I think it so. It is natural.

「下々の者は、私たちのデータ解析の結果だけを信じていればいいんだ」

"What the lower class people do is to believe our analysis results."

「施策に関わることに口を出すな、考えるな」

"Don't put your nose into my business.”

ってことでしょうか。

いや、私、本当に言いたいんですよ。

I want to tell them

「番組はいらないから、データだけくれ」

"Give me your data. No need your program."

って。

ベイズ推定は、私のように、

■データを買う金をもっていない、

■フリーのテクニカルライターもどきで、

Mock of free technical writer,

■ヘロヘロのデータアナリストもどきであっても、

Mock of poor data analysis,

一定の数値の推論結果を導き出すことができる手法なのです。

さあ、この休暇は、ベイズ推定で、「子供を産ませないシステム」の数値による要因分析をやるぞ、と、久々に燃えている私です。
