最近の視力の衰えは、自分でも驚くばかりです。

Recently, I am very surprised at my poor eyesight.

老眼だけでなく、乱視も入っているようです。

安定して「悪い」のであれば、諦めてメガネをかけるのですが、体調の良いときには視力が回復します。

If my eye sight keeps low level, I have no choice but wearing glasses. However, when I am in good shape, my eye sight becomes good.

この時は、逆にメガネが邪魔になります。

At that time, wearing glasses annoys me.

でも、まあ、日常生活や仕事では、それほど大きな支障にはなっていなかったのです。

Anyway, I think this has been not serious trouble in my usual life and routine works.

先日、新しいコラムの方向性について後輩に相談したところ、不勉強を叱責されて、今、専門書で勉強をしています。

The other day, when I asked my junior worker's advice about a direction of new column serialization, he scolded me for an inattentive to my work. So I have started them by the book he had recommended.

数式の文字が、かすんで見えて、大変苦労しています。

I have a lot of troubles because I cannot catch the characters of mathematical expression in the book.

本日も、

Today, I got mad with the expression with thinking,

―― なんで、この式がイコールで結べるんだ! 誤植だ!

"Why do these formulas are connected by equal character? It must be a typo!"

と、怒っていたら、数式の添字の上の方に見える、1mm程度の大きさのバー(~)の表記を見落していました。

Unfortunately, I overleaped a bar expression that was located an attached character of the formula.

"A boy becomes older easily, so he must be hard to complete his study."

この超有名な訓示が、「視力の老化現象」のことを語っていたとは、今の今まで気がつきませんでした。

I haven't noticed that this utmost famous saying means a senile change of eye sight.
