昨日から、私は「妊娠」「生理」等について一生懸命勉強しております。

生殖医療技術について理解するのに、これらの知識がなくては、お話にならないことに、ようやく気がついたからです。

しかし、当然のことながら「妊娠」「生理」は、女性向けのものが圧倒的に多く、かつ、現象面、心理面からのアドバイスが殆どを占めます。

―― そーゆーことではなく、私は、妊娠のメカニズムとシーケンスが知りたんだよ！

と、パソコンに表示される、女性の子宮モデル図に目をこらしながら(最近、老眼の進行が激しい)、喰い入る様に読み込む、中年男性一人。

はたから見れば、さぞ「気持悪い」光景だろうと思います。

しかし、こういう調査をすることを、少くとも自分自身だけは「正当化」できるという、今の立場(コラムの執筆)は ―― 悪くない。

「女性器」の構造図だけでなく、「まどか」を、「初音ミク」を、「同人誌」を、「ボーイズラブ」を、正々堂々と調べることができ、かつ、その行動の全部に対して、

『調査だ』

と、言い張れるこの立場は、なんというか、

―― 素敵。

それはさておき、まあ、そんなこんなで、目を酷使しながら、妊娠のメカニズムとシーケンスが、大体判ってきたのですが、

―― 何なの？ この美しく調和が取れた、精密制御システムは？

と、感動しています。

GPSの位置補足方式(特にスペクトラム拡散)を初めて理解した時のような、怒涛のような感動に浸っています。

初潮が始まった少女向けには、このような生殖教育を行っているのかもしれませんが、寧ろこれは「少年」の方に教えるべきではないかと思うのです。

このような、美しく調和が取れた、ロバストであると同時に、簡単に壊れうるデリケートな「生命誕生システム」を有する女性を、男性は、最大限の努力で「保護」しなければならないのだ、と ―― ある種の男性(例えば、私)なら、そういう方向で理解できると思う。

「人権」というアプローチがを正道というのであれば、このような「システム」という観点から異性を理解するというのも、私は「あり」だと思うのです。

私は、「一人メシが大好き」なのですが、これを他人に理解して貰うのには、これまで随分苦労をしてきました。

Though I love "lunch alone", I know well that it is very difficult for many persons to understand the love.

多くの人から「寂しい奴」と言われるので、多分、私は「寂しい奴」なのでしょう。

Many people tell me that I am a lonely man, so maybe I think that I am a lonely man.

「友人がいない奴」に至っては、私自身が認める「客観的な事実」です。

Though they also say to me that I have no friends, this is a really fact I have already admitted.

だから、これらのフレーズは、私への悪口にはなりません。

So, unfortunately, these phrases doesn't make me attack at all.

厳密に言うと、私が好きなのは「一人メシ」ではなく、「一人読書メシ」です。

Strictly speaking, I prefer "lunch alone with a book" to just "lunch alone".

そして、この「一人読書メシ」というのは、さらに評判が悪い。

However, this "lunch alone" is in disrepute more.

■食事を作ってくれる人に対して敬意がない。

- No honor for persons who cook lunches.

■食事のマナーとしていかがなものか

- Bad table-manners.

■本を汚す

- Books becomes stains.

等々。

なるほど。これらには一理あります。

Well, these criticisms sound logical.

ではこのアンチテーゼとして、「二人以上メシ」を批判してみましょう。

As an antithesis, I try to critic "lunch with your friends".

■人としゃべりながら食事をするのは、食事に対して敬意があるのか。マナーとして「良い」と言えるものなのか。

- "Lunch with talking to your friends" has an honor for persons who cook lunches, isn't it? Is it really good manner?

この理論を厳密に適用するのであれば、私を非難する全ての人は、友人達と一緒に食事をする時に、何もしゃべらず、黙々と、厳かに食する必要があると思うのです。

I think that all persons who attach me, should eat lunch with keeping silent without uttering a word, and with solemnity.

■他人としゃべりながら食することは、危険ではないのか。

- There is an enormous risk with talking with others.

しゃべっている時の体液(唾液)の初速度は早く、それ故、拡散範囲も広いです。

The initial speed of sputum is fast, and they expand relatively around wide area.

そのしゃべっている人が、潜伏期間中のウイスル性疾患(例えば、インフルエンザなど)に罹患していた場合、何が発生するかは明らかです。

If a person who are talking, catch a disease of viral illness during period of incubation, it is easy to know the next.

すべての体液(唾液)の受け皿となる、食事の容器が、テーブルを埋めつくさんばかりに広がっているのです。

There are a lot of dishes on a table, which are able to catch the sputum.

もはや、「二人以上メシ」が、病原菌拡散装置として機能していることは、論を待たないでしょう。

Nobody could not deny that ""lunch with your friends" is working as a viral expansion mechanism.

とは言え、「一人メシ+読書」が、奇異な風習として差別されることは、仕方がないと思います。

I know well that "lunch alone with a book" is treated as an odd custom and discriminated by many persons.

でも、これをロジックで否定するのは、かなり難しいのですよ。

However it is very difficult to deny this custom logically.

しかし、パソコンのおかげで、人生が大変な目にあっている人もいるでしょう。

However, thanks to a PC, there will be persons whose life has a great experience.

再就職の会場で、「ワードとエクセルが使えない方は、あちらのドアからご退出下さい」と言われるそうです。

I heard the story that there is an announcement "The one that cannot use Word and Excel, please leave that door" in the meeting place of the reemployment.

そういう意味では、嫌な時代になりました。

It was the unpleasant times in this sense.

ワードやエクセルが、算盤(そろばん)や電卓と同等に扱われる時代がくるとは、予想すらできませんでした。

I could not image the time is coming, that Word and Excel is treated as the same of abacus or electronic calculator.

ですから、「外国人の上司や同僚と英語で仕事ができない方は、あちらのドアからご退出下さい」と言われる未来を、今から想定しておいた方が良いと思うんですよ。

So we might make a future image of "The one who cannot work with foreign boss and coworker. please leave that door" from now.

私自身に関しては、ギリギリ逃げきれるタイミング、と踏んでいるんですけどね。

As for me, I think that I can run away from the tragedy by a small margin.

しかし、これを情報工学における、特に「協調分散システム」の観点から見ると、現在のアイドルビジネスの態様に、「全く問題がない」とは言い切れないと思うのです。

However, from the viewpoint of information engineering, especially "cooperative distributed system". I think that it can not be said that "There is no problem at all" in the form of the current idle business.

ただ一つ違うことは、昔の「アイドルとファン」からなるSoSシステムは、「厳密にそのシステム運用を続けていた」ということです。

Autumn has come.

秋は秋刀魚(サンマ)です。

In autumn, sanma(saury) become delicious.

サンマは、骨を除いて食べられない部位はありません。

We can eat all parts of sanma, expect of the bone.

全ての部位が旨い。

All parts are delicious.

にも関わらず、我が家の嫁や娘は『苦(にが)くて、魚のワタが喰えない』なぞとぬかしております。

However, my wife and daughters said that "organ parts are so rough that I cannot eat them"

『そこがいいんだけどな』と思いつつも、自分の食べ方を、他人に押しつけることはできません。

Though I think "the taste is good", I cannot put my eating style into others.

そこで、我が家では、「残ったサンマの部位は、全て私の分として残せ」と命じてあります。

So in my family, I have ordered both my wife and daughters to leave the organ parts of sanma for me.

これこそが、全員が幸せになる素晴しい運用方法 ―― 家庭内共生 ―― です。

This is an excellent management policy to make my family feel happy, "symbiosis in home"

昨日、夜遅くに帰宅すると、2つの皿の上に、サンマの残骸が残っていました。

数週間前、職場やってきたインターン生の指導員をやっていました。

A few weeks ago I was an instructor for a internship student who came to work.

有能な学生さんだったので、私は、必要な材料を揃えて、「作って欲しいもの」をお願いするだけで、十分でした。

Since he was a competent student, I had enough of all the materials he needed, and asked him for what I wanted to make.

私から出した「ちょっと普通でないお願い」は、

私にとって、もっとも読み難いプログラムは、

For me, the most difficult program to read is that

■リストが長くて、

the list is long

■意味不明の大量の変数が使用されていて

a lot of meaningless variables are used

■キレイに纏められた

Neatly organized

プログラムです。

「簡潔に美しく整理されたプログラム」というのは、開発者の私にとっては、「最低にして最悪のプログラム」です。

"A concise and beautifully organized program" is "the worst program” for me as a developer.

サンプルプログラムは、最大でも20行以内であって欲しいです。

I want sample programs to be within 20 lines at the maximum.

可能であれば、変数ではなく、実数をバリバリにハードコーディングして欲しいです。

If possible, I'd like you to hard-code real numbers rather than variables.

非効率な(最適化されていない)ループを、そのまま残しておいて欲しいです。

I'd like you to leave the inefficient (unoptimized) loop intact.

なぜか？

Why do I want that?

そのようなソースコードからは、色々なことが読み取れるからです。

I can read several knowledges from source codes of the sample program

ライブラリのファンクションの引数の記述方法(ポインタ等)、オブジェクトの構造、データ参照の順番とか、それらが、一目瞭然です。

The source codes make me clear that how to use argument of library's function, structures of object and orders of data references.

プログラマが、プログラム作成の最中で「迷走している経過」のプログラムくらい、勉強になるプログラムはありません。

There is no program that allows programmers to study as much as a “straying course” program during program creation.

コマンドラインの使い方にしても、引数の内容の説明なんぞ、私には不要です。

When I use the command line, I don't need an explanation of the argument contents.

私は、実際に動く、コマンドラインの使い方の実例(サンプル)があれば、そのサンプルから、使い方を推測しますし、その方が早い。

If there is an actual example (sample) of how to use the command line that actually works, I guess how to use it from that sample, and that is faster to understand the command..

(この話は、私がこれまで散々繰り返してきた、数学の「実学」や、家電製品の「マニュアル」の話と同じです)

(This story is the same as the "math" of mathematics and the "manual" of home appliances that I have repeated so far)

私が愛用している時計は、こちらに記載したものです。

This is about my watch repair.

耐用年数をとうに越えており、すでに同じ時計は入手できませんが、電池交換を繰り返しながら、使い続けています。

It's already past its service life and the same watch is no longer available. However I continue to use it, changing the batteries repeatedly.

リストバンドはジョイント部が欠けており、もはやリストバンドの交換もできない状況です。

The wristband is missing a joint and the wristband can no longer be replaced.

ですので

So,

―― Amazonで購入したリストバンドを、瞬間接着剤で、強制的にジョイント

"I buy a wristband from Amazon, with instant glue, to force a joint"

しています。

リストバンドが劣化して、切断した場合には、その接続の部分を無理矢理引き剥がして、固化した接着剤をドライバで削ぎ取っています。

If the wristband deteriorates and is cut, the connection part is forcibly peeled off and the solidified adhesive is scraped off with a screwdriver.

案外なんとかなるものです。

It's surprisingly manageable.

時計に限らず、私は、"モノを直して使い続ける"のが好きです。

Besides watches, I like to "fix things and keep using them."

デバイスを完全に停止するまで使い倒す ―― これは、あまり経済的な行為とは言えません。

"Use it until the device is completely shut down". This is not very economical.

国内消費にも、GDPにも貢献しません。

I even realize that I have agitated "active disposal of existing systems".

最近、「地政学」という言葉が、テレビでも登場するようになっているようです。

The term "geopolitics" seems to be appearing more and more on TV these days.

地政学とは、一言で言えば、「その国の立ち位置(政治体制等)は、地理的な条件で決定する」というものです。

"Geopolitics" is, in a nutshell, that a country's positions(political system, etc.) is determined by its geographical condition.

地政学がピックアップされていることは、とても良いことだと思います。

I think the popularity of "Geopolitics" is good.

先ずは、この教科を、地理や歴史に組み込んでもいいんじゃないか、と思っています。

Above all, the better way is that this subject might be embedded in into geography and history.

なぜ、そう思うかというと、

『その国がどういう立場で、その行動をしているか』が、見えてくるので、ストレスが減るのです。

ただ、国家としては、このような「物分かりのいい国民の育成」というのは、メリットでもありますが、デメリットでもあります。

On the other hand, as a nation, this kind of "cultivation of a well-informed public" is both an advantage and a disadvantage.

クラウゼヴィッツの「三位一体」

Clausewitz's "Trinity"

1. 国民 = 本能担当 = 戦争の情熱や熱狂担当

1. people = in charge of instinct = in charge of passion and enthusiasm for war

2. 軍隊 = 自由な精神活動担当 = 戦争の運営担当

2. military = free spirit = in charge of running the war

3. 政府 = 知性担当 = 戦争の大枠担当

という区分で考えると、「物分かりのいい国民」は、情熱も熱狂も持たない国民となり、国家全体としては、少々困ったことになるからです。

From the viewpoint of the above classes, "a well-informed public" has less passion and enthusiasm, and this is a little "troublesome" as the whole nation.

日本国民に特化して考えれば、以下のような項目に関することです。

文部科学省が、国民に、義務教育で「地政学」を課していないのは、こういう理由なのなぁ、と邪推しています。

I wonder if this is the reason why the MEXT does not require its citizens to take "geopolitics" as part of compulsory education.

私、プロ野球の仕組みについては、全く知らないと言っても過言ではありません。

I am not exaggerating when I know nothing about how professional baseball works.

ドラフト会議というものが、『巨人一強』という弊害から作られた、という話を聞いたことがあるくらいです。

I have heard that the draft conference was created out of the evils of the "Giants' monopoly."

なんでも、読売ジャイアンツが1965年（昭和40年）から1973年（昭和48年）まで、9年間連続してプロ野球日本シリーズを制覇していたそうです。

The Yomiuri Giants won the Japan Series of professional baseball for nine consecutive years, from 1965 to 1973.

で、私は、小学生の頃、巨人ファンの友だちに、『読売ジャイアンツがいかに強かったか』という話を、うんざりするほど聞かされました。

So, when I was in elementary school, my friends who were Giants fans told me stories about how strong the Yomiuri Giants were to the point that I was sick and tired of hearing them.

「選手が『監督。今日はどうしますか？』と尋ねると、巨人の監督が『うん。今日は勝て』と言った」

"When The players asked the Director, 'Director, what do you want to do today?' he said, 'Win today's game.'"

と、自慢気に語ってきました。

He bragged about it.

ただ、この話、現時点で裏が取れていません。ただ、私は、この話を、複数の人間から聞いたような気がします。

I have not been able to corroborate this story at this time. However, I think I have heard this story from more than one person.

当時の私は、子ども心に『こんな醜悪は話は聞いたことがない』と、思いました。

At the time, I thought to myself as a child, 'I have never heard such an ugly story'

当時の読売ジャイアンツが、その財力と人気によって、優秀な選手を集めて、プロ野球とゲームを一方的に支配していた、ということだからです。

This is because it means that the Yomiuri Giants at that time attracted the best players and unilaterally dominated professional baseball and the game through their financial power and popularity.

―― なんで、彼(友だち)はこんな話で、自慢ができるんだ？ むしろ"醜聞"として隠すべきストーリだろう？

"How can he (my friend) brag about such a story? Isn't it instead an "ugly story" that should be hidden ?"

と、思ったものです。

I thought.

大相撲の八百長試合と同じことです。

This was the same story as the fixed Sumo game.

So this story ("Win the today's game") may be a "fictional story that has taken on a life of its own."
