私の著書に関して、ツイッターで批評をしてくる人に関して、一種の法則性があることを見つけました。

[第一の法則] 凄く早い段階でツイートする

大体Webで公開されてから3時間以内。しかも、サラリーマンであれば就業時間と思われる時間帯にツイートしている。しかも、一日中、ツイートを続けている(例えば平均数分程度で)。

[第二の法則] 「誤読」や「検討違い」なツイートをする

とにかく急いで自分のツイートを付けたい気持先行して、多くの場合、論理破綻している。

[第三の法則] 自分では創作しない

そのような人の過去ツイートを見てみると、ニュースや人の意見に関する批判や、あるいは半分以上がリツイートばかりで、ゼロから立ち上げた「自分の意見」や「自分の創作」が絶無。

[第四の法則] 論理展開できない

まず、ツイートの内容が乱暴な言葉のみから構成されており、基本的に無知性かつ幼稚。きちんとした理由の開示を求めると、沈黙する。

これらを纒めてみると、この法則に当てはまるツイートをしてきた人の属性が見えてきます。

■原則、潤沢な自由時間がある→ヒマである

■自分が批判の初端であることを示したい→目立ちたい

■しかし、自分自身で論理展開できない→力量がない

これは、これで、結構幸せな生き方だと思います。

ロジック不要で、感性だけで人を貶(けな)せる。

しかも、自分では何も創作しない以上、誰からも批判されることはない訳で、一方的に、批判だけして生きていれば良い。

しかし、この程度の属性の人間に、私や私の著書を批判されるのは、私の嫁さんや娘たちと同様に、私のとても大切なものを汚されたような気持になります。

凄い嫌悪感を感じます。

先日、漫画家の赤松先生にインタビューに参上した時、

「ロジックのない批判をしてくるツイッターに腹が立ちます、先生はどう対応されていますか？」

と、相談させて頂きました。

赤松先生：「そのツイッターの相手と議論して『勝てる』と思いますか？」

江端：「確信を持って『勝てる』と思います。私は、一本のコラムを書くのに、積み上げれば30cm以上にもなる書籍や資料を読み込んでいます。あの程度のツイートごときに負ける訳がありません」

赤松先生：「じゃあ、もし、腹が立ってしかたがないのなら『ニコニコ動画の生放送』に生出演を要求してみればどうですか。そのような人は、絶対に出てきませんから」

江端：「・・・(凄いこと思いつく人だなぁ)」

赤松先生：「それに、意味のある意見であれば、黙って、その意見を自分の創作に採り込んでしまえば良いですよね」

江端：「・・・(しかも、器も大きい)」

赤松先生：「どちらにしても、何もしなくても、あなたは『もう、既に勝っている』のですよ」

―― と、赤松先生は、おっしゃられました。

―― 創作者は、どう転んでも『勝ち組』

第一線で活躍するマンガ家の「凄み」を見せつけられて、圧倒された瞬間でした。

私は、「会社の同期」という考え方も希薄です。

I am not interested in "Enter a company at the same time".

ただ、それでも一緒に研修を受けたり、酒を飲んだりしたことがあるので、結婚の話や、社内の人事異動や、社外での活動の記事を読むと、感慨深いものがあります。

However, I had attended lectures and had a drinking-party with them.

So I am deeply impressed when I read articles of their marriage, promotion and external activities.

I sometimes think

―― おお、がんばっとるな

"They are doing their best"

と思うこともありますが、

On the other hand, I am sometimes afraid that

―― こんな人事をして、我が社は大丈夫かいな

"Is our company good to do such personnel affairs?"

という心配をすることもあります。

先日、比較的早くに結婚して、お母さんになっている、同期の女性と話をする機会を得ました。

The other day, I had a chance to talk a woman who entered a company at the same time, and had got marriage and had children.

彼女は、工場実習当時、可憐で、知的で、新人男性社員から、よくしゃべりかけられていたのを覚えています。

She was an intellectual and beautiful women in the factory training, and I remember that she was often be said from the fresh men.

その会話の中で、私が、軽くジョークをかましたところ、

When I told a joke, she gave a tap on my shoulder with saying

「エバちゃんったら、そんなこと言ってー!!」

"Oh! You are kidding! EBA-Chan!!"

と、「パシッ」と肩を叩かれました。

子どもを育てる母から繰り出される腕力は、それなりに強かったようで、

The physical strength from a mother's arm that brought up children seemed to be strong,

―― その日は、終日、肩が痛かった

I had felt a pain in my shoulder all day.

『時間が経つとは、こういうことなんだな』

"Time and tide wait no man."

と久々に、感傷に浸ってしまいました。

After a long absence, I have indulged in sentiment.

本日は、実家で樹木の伐採をやっていました。

I felled the tree today at the parents' house.

先日、灼熱の太陽の下での伐採作業中に、不注意で窓ガラスを割ってしまいました。

I have broken a windowpane by carelessness the other day while I worked on felling under the scorching sun.

朝方、雨が降っていたので、これ幸いと雨の中で、のこぎりで全部の枝を切り落していました。

Because it rained in early in the morning, I cut all the branches by a saw in this happiness.

さらに、それらの枝を電動丸ノコで細断して、ごみ袋の中に詰め込んでいました。

And, I cut those branches in electric circle saw and packed it in a garbage bag.

しかし、そのころには天気は回復してしまいました。

However, the weather has been restored at that time.

汗でグッショリになりながら、直射日光の痛みを避ける為に、20分ごとに日陰に逃げるという作業を繰り返していました。

With dripping wet for sweat, I repeated the work that I evaded in the shade every 20 minutes to avoid a pain of the direct rays of the sun.

合計7袋のゴミ袋を満載にして終ったころには、確信できました。

After loading seven bags of garbage, I could convince that

―― 人をバラバラにして廃棄する、初期の履修は完了した

"I could finish the initial step to take a person to pieces, and to discard completely."

と。

次の課題は「吹き出る血」の対応です。

The next problem is correspondence of "blood breaking out".

毎年、夏になると、

Every year, in the summer, a lot of phrases

「お前を、甲子園に連れていってやる」

"I take you to Koushien"

というセリフが溢れて、非常に不愉快な想いになる江端です。

『誰だって簡単にできることを、エラそうに語るな、馬鹿野郎めが』

"Do not talk to bossy what anyone can do easily, this idiot"

我が家から、片道で15000円、往復で30000万円くらいのこと、高校生が一夏にバイトがんばれば、なんとかなる金額だろう ―― って、語ったところ、家族全員から一斉に、

That is not big issue because the cost is just 15000 yen in one way, 300 million yen in the round trip, for example from my house. A part-time job in the one summer by high school students, is going to make the money.

『そうじゃない!』と突っ込まれました。

My family said "Come on! that's not the way!!"

なにより、この「お前を、連れていってやる」という上から目線の無礼な物言いが、私は嫌いです。

Above all, I hate the phrase of "I take you to ..." like as looking down on other.

まあ、この言葉が通用するのは、野球部のエース(男)と、マネージャ(女)に限定されることも分っている(その状況のセリフとしては概ね妥当といえる)、そもそも、私は、このワンパターンすらも嫌いなのです。

I know this phrase is often used in the scene between an ace of the baseball team of ace(boy) and the manager(girl), and I can agree that this phrase is usual in this scene, however, to begin with, I hate this one pattern role too.

この逆のパターン、野球部(当面は、ソフトボール部も)のエース(女)が、「お前を、インターハイに連れていってやる」と、マネージャ(男)に宣言する映画が、そろそろ出てきて、大当りしても良いと思うのですが、―― そういう映画は、なかなか製作して貰えないようですね。

The reverse of the pattern, for example. an ace of the softball/baseball team of ace(girl) say to the manager(boy) "I take you to the next Inter－Highschool Chanpionships", I expect the movie will make and catch on well.

ま、どっちのパターンであれ、私が、そのような映画見に行くことはないと思いますが。

Anyway I will not go to either of the movie.

今年「忖度」という言葉が流行りました(というか、今も流行っていますが)。

The word "commitment" became popular this year (or, even now it is popular).

で、今、国会で使われている「忖度」は、「忖度」自身に問題があるのではありません。

And now, the "commitment" used in the Diet does not have a problem with the "commitment" itself.

(1)「9億円の土地を1億円で売却した？ 何故？」

(1) "You sold 0.9 billion yen land for 100 million yen? Why?"

(2)「その差分の8億円分って誰の金 ？ えっ？私の税金？」

(2) "Whose money for that difference about 800 million yen is it? Oh, My tax?"

(3)「ふざけんなー!!」

(3)Don't be silly.

です。

行政庁の職員が、行政庁のトップに、阿る(おもねる)のは当然です。

It is natural for administrative officials to get on top of the administrative agency.

民間企業だって同じです。

Private companies are the same.

「組織とは、上の顔色を見ること」です。

"The purpose of organization" is to understand the intention on the top.

それが組織の行動原理です。

That is the behavioral principle of the organization.

そういう意味では、組織の中において、私は「忖度」の限りを尽してきたつもりですし、

In that sense, I have done the "commitment" for my business man's life, as possible as I can. I also can say

「忖度とは私である」

"I am made of commitments"

とすら思えるのです。

ただ、今回の「忖度」の話で、私が違和感が感じるのは、「上の意向を読み取らないと、出世の道が途絶える」という、新聞や雑誌に掲載される紋切り型の文言です。

However, with this story of "commitment", I feel a sense of bad. The phrase "stereotyped" that is posted in newspapers and magazines, "If they do not understand the intentions of the top, their way of career will cease".

―― 本当にそうかなー

"Is it true ?"

と思ってしまうのですよ。

私は、「付託」の本質は、「『面倒くさい』の忌避」にあると思っています。

I believe that the essence of "commitment" is in "challenge for trouble".

■片付けなければならない仕事は山ほどある

- There are many jobs that I must be cleaned up

■「9億円の土地を1億円で売却」する程度の仕事、さっさと片づけて、とっとと次の仕事に取りかかりたい

- I will clean up quickly about the trivial work of "selling 900 million yen land at 100 million yen", and I want to get to the next job soon.

■面倒くさい政治家の権力闘争などという、下衆なことに巻き込まれるのは面倒だ

- I don't want to face the subordinate trouble about the politician's power troublesome struggle.

■家には、介護しなければならない親と、最近成績の悪い娘がいるし、政治家ごときに、私の生活のリズムを狂わされるのはゴメンだ

- In my house, there are parents who have to take care, and poorly performing daughters recently. Anyway I do not want to go crazy about my life's rhythm by even politicians.

と、まあ、「"付託"エキスパート」である私には思えるんですよ。

I, who is a "commitment expert" come to think that.

まあ、ここには「『出世』している人って、あんまり幸せそうに見えない」という、江端固有の世界観があるので、

Well, there is a unique view of the world about Ebata, "anyway, "People who "get on" do not look so happy"

これが一般解とは断言できないのですが。

I can not affirm that this is a general solution.

(昨日の続きです)

(Continuation from yesterday)

私は、姉に電話を一本入れて、『今日中に相続関係を片づけるのは無理そう』と連絡して、ツアーを再開しました。

After calling my sister, and telling "might be impossible to finish it", I restarted the cruise.

私は、次の役所を目指して、父の出所を求めて、山の中の道を通り抜け、海岸線を走り、工業地帯を抜けて、車を走らせました。

In order to find my father's birth place, I drove the car to arrive at the next city hall, through a wooded area, along a coast, and in an industrial zone.

殺人的な酷暑の太陽光線の中の移動ではありましたが、車の中はクーラーが付いていて、ツアーそのものは、それなりに楽しめました

The cruise was done under the killing shining in the murderous heat, however I could enjoy driving in the air-conditioned car.

I thought

―― 父は、こういう風景を見ながら、人生を送ってきたのか

"My father had lived his life, watching these landscapes"

と、父の人生の足跡を辿るような気持ちで、車を運転していました。

with driving as following his tracks of his life.

幸いなことに、父の出生地へのツアーは、次の役所の戸籍で「終了」となったのですが、戸籍謄本を見た私は、正直ビックリしました。

Fortunately, the cruise was terminated at the next city hall, however when I read the copy of family register, I was really surprised.

一つの戸籍に、十数人以上が属しており、何枚捲っても父の名前が登場してこないので、ドキドキしていました(随分後ろの方に出てきましたが)。

There was over ten people names in the copy, I felt in suspense that it was almost impossible to find my father's name. (Finally I could find it at the bottom lines.)

I understood that

■一つの戸籍に、少くとも3つの家族属しており、一つの家族に子どもの数が5～6人も存在している

There were three families in the same place, and one of the families had several children.

■「家族」というよりは、「クラス」または「集落」

There were almost "class" or "colony" not "family"

その書類の中には、『少子化』という概念は、一欠片も存在していませんでした。

At least, in the copy, I could not find the concept of "declining birth rates".

なんやかんやで、私は4時間くらいかけて、父の実家の半島をグルッと回り、手に入れた書類の束を助手席に置きながら、帰路に就きました。

After all, I continued the cruise about four hours and drove around the peninsula of his birth place. And I could start on my return home.

父の人生に比べれば、ほんの微かな時間のことだと思いますが ――

This time was scant rather than the period of my father's life, however,

父の半生の(超早送りの)レビューができたような気がして、私は楽しかったです。

I could enjoy the cruise because I had a feeling that I could play back his life quickly.

技術分野の中でもソフトウェアのOSS(Open Source Software)では、相互信頼と感謝に基づき、Git HUBやDocker HUBなどによって、高効率の「パクりのメソッド」が確立しています。

Among the technical fields, software OSS (Open Source Software) has established highly efficient "copy and paste methods" with Git HUB and Docker HUB based on mutual trust and gratitude.

私たちエンジニアは、これらの「パクりメソッド」に、凄く助けられています。

Our engineers are greatly helped by these “copy and paste methods”.

ただ、今の所、この「パクりメソッド」の成功例は、ソフトウェア分野に限定されています。

However, for now, the success of this “copy and paste method” is limited to the software field.

大変もったいないことだと思います。

Is there any way to make this “copy and paste method” systematically handled in the "life" of many people?

とか、考えています。

実は、学校教育こそが、この「パクりメソッド」そのものだったりします。

Actually, school education is the "copy and paster method" itself.

しかし、学校教育は、その扱う範囲が広いので、どうしても効率が悪いです。

However, school education is inefficient because it covers a wide range.

ですので、誰かの素敵な人生を、パソコンとかを使って、パクって、ラクして生きたいなぁ、と考えています。

That's why I want to copy and paste someone's wonderful life easier by using PCs and live my life with ease.

最近、嫁さんの依頼を受けて、嫁さんの親戚に物品を送付しています ―― Amazonを使って。

Recently, I have been sending items to my wife's relatives at her request -- using Amazon.

配送先を、その親戚宅にするだけなので、めちゃくちゃ簡単。

All I have to do is make the delivery to that relative's house, which is too easy.

―― 自分でAmazonに注文すればいいんじゃないの？

"Why don't they just order from Amazon yourself?"

という人は、ITリテラシーの格差というものを、本質的に分っていません。

People who say that, are essentially unaware of the IT literacy gap.

これは単なるジェネレーションギャップの話ではありません。

This isn't just about the generation gap.

本質的に「ITを受けつけない人間」の存在を理解していないのです。

Essentially, they don't understand the existence of "people who don't accept IT".

私の試算では、今後、どれだけ月日が経過しようとも、労働人口の13%の人間は「メールを使えません」。

ネットコマースを受け付けない人は、もっと高い比率で存在すると思います。

I think there is a higher percentage of people who do not accept online commerce.

ネット詐欺の相談にいった警察署では、「ネットで買い物なんて怖くてできない」いう警察官に対応されて、愕然としたのを覚えています。

I remember being stunned that when I went to a police station to consult on an online scam, the policeman said "I'm too scared to go shopping on the Internet".

消費者センターの電話窓口のおばさんは、ネットビジネスどころか、ネット通販すら理解していない有様でした。

The lady on the phone at the consumer center didn't even understand online shopping, and online business.

それ故に、

Therefore, we have to think that

『彼らが悪いのではない。世の中とは、そういう比率の構成になるのである』

"It's not their fault. The world is made up of such proportions"

と考えなければなりません。

どんなに、英語を勉強しても、何度、外国に出張しようとも、国際学会で発表をしてこようとも、どうしても「英語に愛されない人間」がいるように ――

No matter how many times I study English, no matter how many foreign trips I take, no matter how many international conferences I present at, they are in vain. And there will always be someone who will never be loved by English.

逆に考えれば、これは、ある種のビジネスチャンスでもあります。

On the contrary, this is a business opportunity of sorts.

ネットコマースは、「人間のインターフェース」を切り捨てることによって、成長してきました。

Online commerce has grown by devaluing the "human interface".

ならば、そこを積極的に拾っていくビジネスは、十分成立しうるはずです。

Then the business of aggressively picking up the pieces there should be viable.

ただ、このビジネスの対価は「金銭」じゃない方がいいな ―― と漠然と思っています。

But I'm vaguely aware that the price of this business shouldn't be "money".

「孫娘/孫息子を、交際相手として紹介して貰う」

"Get them to introduce me to their granddaughter/grandson as a potential mate"

「町内会の役員を免除して貰う」

"Exempt from the town board"

「時々、夕食をご馳走して貰う」

"treat me to dinner"

というような、「金銭」では解決できない価値に対して、使う方がいいと思います。

I would prefer to offer this service for values that cannot be solved by "money".

BS1スペシャル 「果てなき殲(せん)滅戦 日本本土 上陸作戦に迫る」を見ました。

I watched the BS1 Special "Endless Annihilation Battle: Approaching the Japanese Mainland Landing Operation."

沖縄戦の後を見すえた、九州上陸作戦「オリンピック作戦」に関するドキュメント番組でした。

It was a documentary program about Operation Olympic, a landing operation in Kyushu that was planned after the Battle of Okinawa.

今回は、3つほど衝撃を受けました。

This time, I was shocked by three things.

■原爆投下は、広島、長崎の後も、毎週のレベルで国内に投下される予定だった

After Hiroshima and Nagasaki, atomic bombs was planed to be dropped on the country on a weekly basis.

- 長崎の原爆投下終了時に、米国には、まだ9発の原爆のストックがあった

- At the end of the Nagasaki bombing, the United States still had a stock of nine atomic bombs.

- そして、米軍には毎月3個の原爆を出荷できる体制ができていた

- And the U.S. military had the capacity to ship three atomic bombs every month.

- 3発目の投下予定場所は、東京だった

- The third atomic bomb was scheduled to be dropped in Tokyo.

■「日本には一般市民はいない」と認定されていた

The U.S. military had certified that there were no civilians in Japan.

- 東京大空襲で10万人を殺害され、沖縄戦で18万人を殺害されたにも係わらず、降伏どころか、民間人が軍事訓練(ゲリラ戦、爆弾特攻訓練)をしている ―― あの国の国民は、全員が『兵士』である。

- Despite the fact that 100,000 people were killed in the air raids on Tokyo and 180,000 in the Battle of Okinawa, instead of surrendering, civilians are training for military operations (guerrilla warfare, bombing suicide missions) -- the people of that country are all "soldiers".

- 実際、政府が「一億玉砕」という、ゲリラ戦の呼び掛けを国内で行っていた

- In fact, the government had issued a call for guerrilla warfare in the country, called "100 million ball breaking.

■日本国内のゲリラ戦に対抗する手段として「毒ガス」が準備されていた

Poison gas was prepared as a means of countering guerrilla warfare in Japan.

- もちろん、毒ガスの使用は、第一次世界大戦後の1925年のジュネーブ条約で禁止されていたが、沖縄のゲリラ戦で、1万人以上の死傷者を出した米国は、もう、使用を躊躇(ためら)う段階を越えていた。

- Of course, the use of poison gas was prohibited by the Geneva Conventions of 1925 after World War I, but the United States, which suffered more than 10,000 casualties in the guerrilla war in Okinawa, was beyond the stage of hesitation in using it.

もし、日本が8月15日に敗戦を受け入れていなかったら、ストックとして待機状態にあった、9発の原子爆弾は、広島、長崎、(そして東京)の次に、どこに落されていたのだろうか ―― などと考えながら、番組を見ていたら、

As I was watching the program, I wondered where the nine atomic bombs that were on standby in the stockpile would have been dropped after Hiroshima, Nagasaki, (and Tokyo) if Japan had not accepted defeat on August 15.

とりあえず、九州上陸作戦の為に、南九州(鹿児島周辺)に、3発落す予定だったらしいです。

At any rate, the U.S. military was planning to drop three bombs in southern Kyushu (around Kagoshima) for the Kyushu landing operation.

原爆投下を実施した米軍でさえ、原爆を「通常兵器の強力版」程度に考えていたことが分かります。

We can see that even the U.S. military, which carried out the atomic bombings, thought of the atomic bombs as "powerful versions of conventional weapons.

まあ、あのマッカーサーでさえ、1950年の朝鮮戦争の時に、「30発から50発の原爆を満州に投下する」計画を実施しようとして、トルーマン大統領に解任されていますしね。

Well, even MacArthur was dismissed by President Truman when he tried to implement a plan to drop 30 to 50 atomic bombs on Manchuria during the Korean War in 1950.

かくいう、世界で唯一の被爆国である我が国の国民も、原爆への知識を失いつつあるようです。

As the only country in the world to have experienced the atomic bombing, it seems that the people of our country are losing their knowledge of the atomic bombing.

小学生から、

When An elementary school student asked a bomb victim

―― 広島では、原爆は"何発"使われたの？

"How many atomic bombs were used in Hiroshima?"

と質問されて、呆然となったという、被爆者の話を聞きました。

he was stunned ---- I think that it's understandable.

実家の庭では、防草シートを敷設して、雑草対策をしていたのですが、3〜4年を経過して、防草シートを突き破って生えてくる雑草に苦慮しています。

At the garden in my country house, I had weed control by laying down weed prevention sheets,but after three or four years, I am struggling with weeds that are growing through the weed prevention sheets.

力づくで真上に伸びていく草や、隙間から伸びて防草シートの上で光を確保する草など、雑草達は、常に、非常にたくましい生存戦略を図って生きています。

Weeds are always trying to survive with very robust strategies, like growing straight yp by force or securing sunshine on the sheets growing through gaps.

そこで、今回は、庭の樹々を片っ端から切り倒して、庭を更地にして、広さ12畳の防水シート2枚で、中庭全体を覆うことにしました。

So this time, I cut all trees in the courtyard, cleared it, and covered it by two tarpaulins whose size are 12 tatami mats.

昨夜、雨がシートを叩く音で、何度か目が覚めました。

I woke up several times last night to the sound of rain hitting the sheets.

今朝確認したら、防水シートの窪みの部分に水が溜まっていました。

When I checked this morning, water left in the depression in the tarpaulin.

これで、雑草への水の供給は完全に断たれているとは思いますが、水溜りにボウフラなどが発生する可能性もあります。

Although this will have completely cut off the water supply to the weeds, there will be a possibility of bowers etc. in the puddles.

私の実家の庭とのバトルは、継続中です。

The battle with my parents' garden is ongoing.

私は、「"おたく"と認定してはもらえない」ものの、「全ての創作者の応援者」を自称するものです。

I am a self-proclaimed "supporter of all creators," although I am not identified as an "otaku.

コミックマーケットも、可能なら参加してみたいです。

I want to participate in the Comic Market, if possible.

しかし、夏のコミックマーケットは、入場待ち時間(6時間？)で、熱中死に至る自信があります。

However, I am confident that I will die of heat stroke during the waiting time (6 hours?) to enter the summer Comic Market.

これに対しては、以前、『出展者として参加しては？』という提案を受けたことがあります。

In response, I was once asked, 'Why don't you join us as an exhibitor?' I have received a proposal to do so.

しかし、コミケの参加している人たちの意識の高さに対して失礼な様な気がしますし、なにより自分の体力を鑑みて、『自分の命とバーター』のイベントへの参加には抵抗があります。

However, I feel that it is disrespectful to the high level of awareness of the people participating in Comiket. Above all, I am uncomfortable participating in an event that "barters my life" in light of my physical fitness.

そこで、提案なのですが、

―― コミケに「高齢者枠」とか「VIP(政治家枠)」という"ファストチケット"制度を導入するのはどうでしょうか

"How about introducing a "fast-ticket" system at Comiket, such as a "senior citizen quota" or "VIP (politician) quota"?"
