I released my column whose content was "possibility of pregnancy between people of the same sex" using iPS cells technology.
In the column, I expressed my opinion that "It is going to be possible in the future".
-----
At present, according to a marriage of the same sex, it is possible to get married under the conditions by operating sex change and changing sex in census register.
However, Japanese laws (civil laws) consistent with admitting heterosexual marriages only, even if it is for sex or for gender.
I have not joined a political campaign for same-sex marriage, however if someone ask me state my position for or against, I say "for".
Because I cannot find "rational reasons against same-sex marriage".
The reason is extremely simple. If there are both a marriage system and a couple to use the system, it is natural to make the system open for everyone.
Some people try to argue "reproductive capacity" against same-sex marriage, I think that the time of argument is stupidly wasteful.
If we decide that "reproductive capacity" is a condition for the marriage, we have to enforce to repudiate the marriage because of "no child" in order for consistency of law.
In any marriage styles, using the words of "reproductive capacity" for a significance of marriage, is nonsense and vulgarity.
Above all, I think that "our life is not for nation and law". I believe that "nation and law exist for our happy life", and if not, "nation is law are meaningless".
"Any couple who wants to become happy each other, fills the bill of marrige".
I don't need any reason except for it.
Moreover,
(1)No demerit for me, (2)merits for others, (3)no way to explain about the demerit reasonably.
As long as these three conditions, I cannot say anything against marriage of the same sex.
This is a simple elementary-level math.
----
I can understand "we don't like any change". I can agree with the opinion.
However, if the change is "without my own disadvantage" and "without my special effort", I basically do not "disturb the change".
After all, it means that "leave others alone".
