I knew well that these questions belonged to philosophy, so it should has been hard for social workers and care managers to answer the problems.

However, from the viewpoint of "on-the-spot", I thought they were really specialists.

They didn't answer my questions explicitly, I believed that they told me that "nothing to answer" implicitly.

According to the (1) question, that is "getting the ending time they feel happy to had been born and their life"

According to the (2) question that is "making their ending time they feel happy to had been born and their life"

Additionally, I asked the care persons to what it is in detail.

They answered me "warm, calm and easy feeling".

Insistently, I asked them how to give sharp the feelings.

They told me that "I think we do best for "doing our best". What we can do is such thing, after all.

Impressed deep stories, I thought.

Not all "do best" can reach "warm feeling", much less to make them return to old good days.

However, What we can do is such thing.

All of the people in the world have fate of defeat. I think this is real grit.

So, the concept of value that going to purposes or targets for example, examination and business, is the best, eventually becomes meaningless.

It should be too late if we accuse the concept in the last stage of our life, with shouting "you are a liar!!" repeat.

Today, I would like to recommend "Resurrection Day," another blockbuster science fiction novel by the late Sakyo Komatsu.

(I've repeated this story before, but I'll do it again.)

This is the basic form of my view of the world in which the new coronavirus vaccine could not be developed.

COVID-19 (unlike MM-88) does not have a 100% fatality rate, nor is it airborne (it is highly contagious, but only by contact/droplet transmission).

However, I believe that the "final form of medical collapse" is the same as the one depicted in this novel and movie -- or rather, medical collapse is ongoing.

"A patient was unable to be admitted to the hospital due to full occupancy, was forced to return home, and died after receiving treatment at home".

If we don't call this situation "medical collapse," what do we call it?

I can't tell you how many times I've seen this movie, but this time it was on Amazon Prime, so I was doing data calculations while the movie was playing (data calculations don't require my "brain").

And I noticed it for the first time during this viewing.

"The English pronunciations of the Japanese actors is 'excellent'"

It's not so-called "katakana English pronunciation", but it's not "native pronunciation" either.

My recommendation is basically 'novel first', but it comes with the annoying problem of 'getting angry after watching the movie' if you like the novel.

In addition, Sakyo Komatsu's novels can be a bit "tough" if you don't have a certain level of advanced knowledge (in the case of "Resurrection Day", knowledge about viruses and vaccines).

Still, I think that even Sakyo Komatsu could not have come up with the idea of "designing vaccines by computer" in 1964.

Well, at that time, "computer" was synonymous with "magic box," and it was terribly expensive.

For example, at the time, a mere calculator (computer) weighed 13 kg and cost 360,000 yen (49.7 million yen at today's prices, based on the starting university salary of 17,000 yen (1964)/235,000 yen (2020)).

The Ebata family uses an FM transmitter + radio system to bring the TV sound to their hands.

Two of the above "bumper radios" are now in operation in the Ebata household.

However, the following, fixed station FM transmitters (except for in-vehicle use) do not appear to be available for sale.

Well, the Ebata family still has two of them in reserve, so we are fine (we recently retrieved one from my parents' house).

I recently saw a news story about a study that found that the inability to recognize speech sounds can lead to progressive cognitive impairment.

Early wearing of "hearing aids" was recommended, but I think this kind of radio-based system is also effective.

Why?

Because I didn't want to go through all that hassle.

When I read materials for company managers, I see phrases such as "nurture subordinates.

I am genuinely impressed (no sarcasm intended).

I think of "measures" to move people, but not to "train" them.

It is purely to make things easier for me.

Through my long career as a salaried worker, I have learned that those who use phrases such as "nurturing people" without hesitation are usually "destroying people.

This is one of my few specialties from the perspective of how inventions and patent specifications were created. Still, it was particularly noticeable in the work of invention-creation.

I have seen enough of "stupid bosses who crush the freshly born, feeble little inventions of young researchers with their own experience and knowledge.

The invention is born as a weak and small being, like a 'newborn.'

The boss's role is to nourish this "newborn" and raise it into a strong patent right by enabling it to walk.

I have seen bosses who say this is 'nurturing people' but continue to kill these newborns because they are 'not novel' or 'not progressive.'

Anyway, I thought,?

- What are you doing? Isn't it the role of the boss to raise that "newborn baby" with you while struggling to make it work?

- What in the world are you talking about "Nurturing subordinates"?

But, well, this is just one example in my tiny scope.

It would be presumptuous of me to discuss human resource development from my narrow perspective and experience.

Anyway, I am deeply convinced that it is pretty natural that I, who consider "Nurturing people" to be "troublesome," have not been in a position to lead an organization.
