I finished reading "Mitsuhide's theorem" borrowed from the library earlier.

"It was really interesting"

A historical novel of the life of "Akechi Mitsuhide", including probability theory, Baise theorem, and Monty Hall problem. There is no reason why I will not read this book.

When I found it at a bookstore, I tried to buy it. However I have much money to buy it, and no space to place it in my room.

Well, I forgot it. So when I found it on the shelf in the library, I was very happy.

Without using mathematical terms at all, I was astonished in the scene where the monk of the character talks about "posterior probability" to Oda Nobunaga,

Despite being a historical novel of "Akechi Mitsuhide", it was "brilliant" to omit all the scenes of "Honnoji Incident".

Especially, the part in the final chapter to solve the mystery of "Honnoji Incident" from the view point of Mitsuhide's theorem is a really masterpiece.

However, I think that "It may be easy for many readers to understand by using drawings,", however I also think that it might be "aesthetics of novel" ,not to dare to do it.

This novel's "Monty Hole problem" might teach us that

If a situation changes, do something and change the current state."
