Recently, I have used a video-clip on "Youtube" in my columns.
To explain how a device goes,video-clip is very useful.
-----
This week end, I used a free-software of video-clip editor and tried some functions of the tool, however, I have to stop it, if I want to do a little complicated operation.
For example. about "two times speed recording", I didn't know how to operate the GUI of the software, and finally I had to ask a search engine for operations instructions.
-----
In addition, a lot of video clips of the software instruction are on Youtube, however,
"I cannot understand the instruction, at all."
For the first time, the speed of movies are fast and speedy.
I cannot follow the menu selection and how to move the mouse.
For the next time, I cannot tell the important point from others at all.
There is no sharp description, for example. "This operation of this button is important.
Apparently, many of the contributors of Youtube does not seem able to understand the difference between "the beginner of the tool" and "well-known myself".
Well, it is said that it is difficult even for active teachers, so it says for granted, it is more difficult for amateur like me.
-----
Video clips, are "helpful in the amount of information", however, at the same time ,"troublesome in the amount of information"
In addition, teaching materials using the moving image, would lose lightly to ordinary book-based teaching materials.
Patent application and papers, are still text and drawings. The reasons might still be "optimal solution, not "out of fashion".
