Continuously, I am reading the book “TEST-TUBE BABIES (edited by WILLAM A. W. WALTERS and PETER SINGER)"
I borrowed the book from a public library, and I was surprised at several issues.
- This book had been published three decades ago, in 1983.
- Though this book is a close and rare book, I could borrow the book easier.
I think that libraries are great.
I sometimes use some services provided by National Diet Library (NDL). I am happy to hear that we can read a lot of close and rare books by the digital systems.
Though the digital books are good definitely, I love the time turning the page of books, which have come through many readers and more than 30 years.
The book looks like "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" doesn't it?
I would like to say "I'll be waiting for you in the future"
-----
Though the volume of the technologies of “TEST-TUBE BABIES” is just twenty pages, the remaining pages (until 267 pages) contain the life ethics.
I could feel the zeal of opposition side against "TEST-TUBE BABIES" with choral speaking.
Though the theory had been established more than 30 years ago, I was moved to read the both logic of favor and opposite.
I was depressed to read a lot of twitter comments that seems to be made by spinal reflex (not brain).
So I feel happy to read such serious and effortful theories, and want to shout
"Go for it! I stand by both of you. "
