The other day, I told you that my daughter brought me to some colleges in order to join the open campus.

This is another talk.

When we went out from the campus, we met a corpse of cicada on walkway.

My daughter jumped and run away from the corpse, and told me with anger.

Daughter: "Why is it dead on walkway?"

Ebata: "Why? Of course, it is summer now"

D:"Why on walkway?"

E:"Don't say that. They can live just for seven days."

D:"I don't care whether 7 days or 7 years. "Self-determinism" is principle isn't it?"

E:"I think that cicadas cannot choose where they dead"

D:"To begin with, what is the significance of existence of cicada? Is it useful for our life?"

E:"I can bet that cicadas think same"

D:"So what?"

E:"So, it is mutual."

D:"Put your dead body away by yourself"

E:"Moving my body by myself after dead...It is a surreal picture"

However, according to this story, I think that my daughter has "a law of nature".

"Self-determinism" is principle.

So, I think that

The person who caused an accident resulting in death by railway, should put their corpses by their selves, and cooperate with service recovery.

When I began serialisation of the diet, I came to look at the figure of the woman.

"Just dirty old man, aren't you?"

I can prepare to receive the criticism contentedly.

But this is the first time that I observe a woman with "a figure" in the life.

Every year around August 6, NHK will offer programs that will demonstrate this "forced field".

I think that this year's "NHK Special Genbaku Dead(Death by atomic bomb)" must be a precious outstanding work among recent years.

"Mapping the transition of the number of deaths by the atomic bomb on the map" has been done so much, so far.

However, in this program, the view to "visualize" the change in death toll in the time series, has impacted me.

Furthermore, the "Genbaku death" was divided into three categories, and one of them is

- cannot be killed instantly

- is going to die in the greatest severe pain and despair, while watching my body, going down with bloodshed and falling down

This program showed us the existence of the death.

In addition, with paintings, testimonials, data on the occurrence situation of wide area fire generated by the atomic bomb in time series,

In the collapsed building,

- burned down while begin alive

This program showed us the existence of the death too.

The program could make it clear that theses "deaths" are due to the "murder" act that "can not be admitted" as a murder of human being.

So, I want to send the greatest tribute "this is an outstanding and a superb work" to everyone involved in the production.

Whatever the political background, whatever the geopolitical consideration is,

Our Japanese should protest against all "logic to accept atomic bombs"

with just closing our ears, closing our eyes, keep on screaming,

leaving like "ignorant and ignorant fool".

We don't need any logic of "Do not allow atomic bombs", in the same way as a logic of "parents protect their children".

I come to think that "there is no big difference between the death of a human being and the shutdown of a personal computer."

If there is a difference, it is the point that human death is "there is no restart"

I returned to my parents house once two months and 3 consecutive holidays a year (my sister frequently went to my father)

In the kitchen, I liked the time writing the manuscript with a personal computer, with looking at my father who was sitting in front of the TV all day in the living room

"I liked the time to think about the menu of my father's dishes,"

I liked the time to eat together with my father without a single word of conversation (and when my father completed the dish, I made a small guts pose)

I liked that time I had with my father, and I feel very, very lonely that I can not have that time again,

Only this feeling is my pleasure.

That is enough.

Since I started the series on quantum computers, the number of papers and materials printed has been tremendous.

The ink consumption has been terrific, and my room is so full of material that I can't collect it at all.

Now that I'm on the verge of completing the one-qubit series, I'm starting to consider two-qubit.

But I've started studying quantum entanglement, which I hadn't started (and didn't want to).

Since I started this series, I've been really tired of understanding phenomena that don't make sense to common sense.

Now I'm looking into quantum delocalization, and

"Seriously, I'm on the verge of going insane."

"When one state of a pair of quanta is determined, the other is instantly determined as well -- even if the two quanta are hundreds of light years apart"

Of course, I understand (already) that this has nothing to do with warp and super-fast communication,

"Disgusting!"

In that sentiment, I would like to stand by Mr. Einstein, who had continued to insist throughout his life that "quantum theory is incomplete".

(Various subsequent experiments have already confirmed that Mr Bohr's claim, and not Mr. Einstein's, was correct.)

In fact,

Compared to the creepiness of quantum behavior, there's nothing in the horror of ghosts and the stories (really).

I think I know a little bit about "rough numbers" concerning our country (Japan), partly because I write a series of columns like this one.

Among them, though the population of Japan has changed a lot recently due to the declining birth rate, I have a rough idea of the population as follows.

(1) One million people are born each year, and one million people die.

(2) 1 million people X 100 years old = 100 million people

It's really rough, but it's useful to have this image in mind.

In other words, roughly 3,000 people are born and die every day in Japan -- in other words, they are being "replaced".

On the other hand, looking at this page, the current vaccination speed of COVID-19 in Japan is,

roughly 10000 people/day.

What I'm trying to say is...

"If there are 10,000 people vaccinated every day, at least one of them will be among the 3,000 people who die every day".

Of course, such a comparison of figures cannot be used to determine that there are no fatalities associated with the new coronavirus vaccine.

In fact, I don't believe that there is any such thing as "no causality" in a population of over 100 million people.

The human body is a super complex system, and everyone's system configuration is different.

What triggers what, in the end, no one knows.

"Safety" is really just a matter of "probability against the population.

But at this point, all I can say for sure are,

"The probability of dying from corona infection (which has been proven to be causal) is much higher than the probability of dying from the new corona vaccine (which is currently unknown).

and,

"As a survival strategy, the virus will continue to mutate to make it easier to infect unvaccinated humans"

The reason why Ebata, who is not a doctor, can say such a thing with such confidence is that he frequently monitors data from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and other sources.

The other reason is that I have been using genetic algorithms (GAs) to solve various problems, and I have a "physical" experience of the powerful effectiveness of these algorithms.

Recently, as a weekend engineer, I implemented and validated the algorithm for the memo here.

in the background of all the "big talk" about the new coronavirus vaccine,

"There are two things involved: (1) I'm used to reading numbers and (2) I'm (still) using genetic algorithms.

I had lived in harsh reality since I was graduated from high school, because 'team sports = pain' and 'collective action = pain' are imprinted on me.

As for me, frankly speaking, the 'sports day' and 'school trip' were torture.

On school trips, people who stayed up all night making noise were - to put it mildly - considered "idiots".

"Is is more fun to get good sleep, walk around with light steps, read the board explaining historic story, see the historic architecture, and follow the historical site?"

There were an overwhelming minority of children at the time. I mean there were no child like that

By the way, when I talk to my daughters, I hear their friends suffer from mental disorder, and enforce to leave of absence or office.

In many cases, they are tired of their company relationships.

However, it is a rare and lucky case to get alone with others.

And I think, really, that...

"Why do you all seem to be able to 'get along with others'?"

When I was a college student, I had already made a self-analysis that I was not a good team player.

So I thought that my work style would be better "stand-alone" rather than "teamwork".

As a result, I made me a "research engineer".

I think that many people believe that their communication ability is higher.

Or they might think that once they start working, it is going well.

However, clearly speaking, it cannot be helped about this issue.

In "Chronicle on the Sand" by Yoichi Funado, there is a conversation between an elderly Muslim warrior.

Though I don't have the book with me, so I don't remember exactly,

' Today, I put an egg in it.'

'No need for such hospitality.'

'I want to eat.'

The above scenes like this one appear.

I remember being shocked to learn that eggs are a luxury item in some (combat) areas.

The recent spike in egg prices reminds us of this scene.

In the old days, we could eat eggs whenever and as much as we wanted. We could say that no food did not contain eggs.

Father! Please don't do it! You can't teach that kind of bullshit to a child!

I hope such a time never comes.
