These days, I spend much time for researching and writing of my columns.
A colleague says "waste of ebata's capability" in front of me, not in secret.
I doubt "It is true isn't it?"
I like writing and researching anything without any criticism from anyone.
So I have an uncomfortable feeling whenever he said "waste of capability"
-----
According to "waste of capability", I am not equal to him absolutely.
Gorgo 13
He is fluent in more than 20 languages in the world, have knowledge of any field of cultures and technologies, execute mission-impossible tasks perfectly, and have enormous money he will never have spent out.
An international terrorist.
I wonder why he works as a terrorist.
If he use his abilities for peace, it should be helpful for all of the people in the world.
"Waste of my capability" must be timid isn't that?
-----
One of his favorite customs is smoking leaf rolls.
The commit of Japan Antismoking institute appeal him to stop smoking. not only "kazetachinu" of Ghibli animation movie.
However if the commit try it, I am afraid that the top of the commit will be shoot by M16 in several days.
Today, a new column is released, so I take a day off.
"Let's turn the world by "Number" Diet (25)
"Diet destroys your brain. It is dangerous "negative feedback""
-----
In this column, my comment,
The junior fellow who appeared in this column
"Why don't you redo it from beginning?"
has existed.

If the contents of programming education for compulsory education
will skip the diseased wariness and the repeating the huge number of tests that are absolutely impossible, conveniently
and
will be trying to cut out and teach only that "logicality"
I can already see the "big failure" of programming education in the compulsory education process at this stage, even if not seen by others.
-----
Talking away, I want to talk about computer-aided education, not programming education.
It is called, CAI(computer-assisted instruction),which is education by computer.
I think "e-learning" is also one of CAI, however, I think that it is slightly different from CAI, because it is just likely to be reviewing PowerPoint.
CAI is to actually educate computers as a teacher's agent, talking with students.
CAI appears every few years, as it we remembered,
As far as I can know - there is no success case.
Especially for use in compulsory education, I have not seen a report on the success report.
(If there are success stories, it is a huge spreading long ago. In addition recently, the personal computer is also inexpensive, and you can get it for free if you are second hand).
Even when the second daughter wanted painting practice software for a game machine (such as Nintend DS etc), only I opposed the purchase.
And after that, I have never seen the second daughter using that software.
In general, it seems that both computer and human beings are not compatible about CAI (education for children in particular).

(Continuation from yesterday)
At that time I (even now), I can not ask for "help" for friends as well as for my relatives.
Why can not I ask for "help"?
I didn't want to owe someone one.
"If I owe, I will return."
is annoying me.
I am afraid that it is difficult to explain this situation.
Dare to say, it is "Graham's mind" in the comic "Hamidashikko" by Mihara Jun-sensei.
-----
By the way, Jack said such a thing to Max.
That is not enough to have "a pride that is hurt by being helped"
"Real pride" is to be helped by someone when I need, and to help someone when they need help
-----
Anyway my pride is far from "real pride" that Jack told Max,
"When you need help, you really will die if you do not ask for help"
(Continuation from yesterday)
Well, let us think why "trigonometric function" is handled so roughly, even it has much effect on from religions, philosophy to national strategy.
The reasons are,
(1)we cannot feel usability in our daily life,
(2)we feel easy to decide "trigonometric function" is just a tool for specialists of different world.
And the cause is
"How Mathematics Education should be"
It all comes down to the fact that.
However, as far as this "mathematics education", I have already been stated so far, I will skip this time.
-----
What I would like to claim this time, is
""object oriented" education of trigonometric functions is necessary"
Whether it is a quadratic function, an exponential function, a logarithmic function, or a trigonometric function,
Instead of "tinkering with mathematics" as in mathematics education now,
In order to understand that the actual values which are thrown into those functions, and come out, are "delicious"
"Mathematical cooking practice"
should be needed, I think.
-----
The present mathematics education is,
- to present just contents(nutrients and calories) of ingredients of cooking,
- to teach just how to cook (simmering time, ignition)
- to say just "I taught the basics of cooking with this. Therefore, anyone can cook"
- to just leave
Indeed, the current mathematics education is "cooking lessons that neither" make "nor" eat "by oneself.
With this, it is natural to come "the opinion that trigonometric functions are unnecessary".
(To be continued)
(Continuation from yesterday)
To put it worse, when faced with a phase where one or the other must be truncated,
Which is better for the rest of our life?
-----
Recently, the word "recurrent education" has been hailed, but at first I felt uncomfortable.
This may be different depending on the job, however, in the world of engineers, technological changes (obsolete) are so intense that it is necessary to constantly study new things. It is a sort of
"Lifelong recurrent education"
Conversely, saying, "I just need to keep studying" can be said to be an easy-going position.
At least, I consider people in the customer service and sales profession, who have to keep on dealing with humans on a daily basis, to be truly "honorable" and "hard" work.
I am convinced that, even if the next birth may occur, only "service" and "sales" are not possible.
-----
This is only the difference between "for humans" and "for computers and machines". In terms of market value, both are "technologies".
I think what is being asked is how we can add "value" to it.
It is said that the country on the peninsula next to our country and the country on the continent of the peninsula are now heating up in the "Birthplace of kimchi".
It seems to go beyond the private level and involves the media and even parts of the government.
I do not consider this to be "childish".
Food culture is one of the most important aspects of culture, because it is the one that is most strongly connected to national sentiment.
-----
Ebata: "As for kimchi, it's clear that it didn't originate in our country, so as for our country, we're completely bystander"
Wife: "But if someone says 'Soba' originated in China, our country will not forgive it".
Ebata: "Well, it's a fine line between the Senkaku Islands and other territorial issues, and the terms of the deal"
Wife: "But if they tell us that 'sushi' originated in China..."
Ebata:"In that case, there's no more "stuff" to deal with.
"Very well. Then it's war"
I believe that a declaration of war from our country would meet with the public's approval"
It's against the Constitution, though.
"Why do we have to repeat the curfew so many times?"
The answer is,
"COVID-19 has a staggeringly high infection rate compared to existing flu strains, and a punishingly high mortality rate".
-----
What happens when we 'completely' ignore the government's request for self-restraint?
"The daily life of "dead bodies lying on the street" is coming."
I think it's about time that the government show this vision to the people properly -- it will be criticized, but it's true.
In short, I believe that the countermeasure against the new coronavirus infection is to maintain a life where we don't have to see "dead bodies lying on the street".
In other words, it is a measure to ensure "an environment where people can die while receiving treatment in a hospital.
-----
There are still people who think that the influenza virus and the new coronavirus are "the same" -- well, "the same" is O.K.
The bottom line is that
(1) "Do we want to maintain an environment where people can die while receiving treatment in hospitals?"
(2) "Do we accept dying at home or outdoors if people could no longer be accommodated in a hospital?"
That's the only difference, in my opinion.
If I were to die the same way, I want to
(A) bet on the possibility that I'll be able to stay, and
(B) pass away as comfortably as possible while receiving oxygen inhalation and pain relief treatment.
-----
People who say, "If I'm going to die anyway, it doesn't really matter..." can ignore the government's request for self-restraint and vaccination.
However, in such a case, I think the "reasonable course of action" is to choose "refrain from medical treatment," "home treatment," and "death at home (death by neglect)" as a set menu.
-----
The above has always been my stance.
However, I was quite shocked to read an email I received from a reader the other day.
(To be continued)
I have always loved soba since I came to Kanto area.
Soba in the Kanto region is usually delicious.
The soba restaurant (even if it is a stand-up buckwheat noodle shop) attached to the station is also properly delicious.
-----
Yesterday, I enjoyed the "buckwheat noodles with gravy" that I had at a restaurant in a super public bathhouse, so I cooked it myself and served it to my wife.
Here is the recipe I used as a reference.
I kept tasting, gradually increasing the amount of ingredients in the dipping sauce, because I felt it was 'less flavorful than yesterday'.
Eventually, I lost the taste, and at some point I couldn't modify the taste.
Cooking also has a "point of no return".
(The term used to be used for brain death determination, but recently it seems to be used for global warming countermeasures, etc.)
Well, it was delicious there, and my wife loved it, so I will cook it again.
-----
Today's story is the one I plan to use as a preamble to my next column.
These issues have finally led to a move to abolish the ruling party's factions.
The issue at issue in this case is (1) above. Kickbacks are, in effect, an alchemy of unrestricted funds and are an act of tax evasion.
I do not understand that the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office has only brought indictments against the factional treasurer and the lawmakers who have received kickbacks totaling more than 40 million yen.
-- It is an evasion if the kickback amount is 40 million yen or 4,000 yen.
However, if we were to be so strict, it would mean that all existing political parties would collapse, so I thought that the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office had drawn a borderline of 40 million yen.
I guess it means even if 'justice and righteousness' are essential, it is meaningless to stop the operation of a nation to a standstill.
Well, even salaried employees like myself are exempt from filing tax returns for internal income of up to \200,000 per year (however, this is legal, but kickbacks are not listed, even if they are only \1).
Many salaried workers in Japan may not be able to feel it, but once you file your tax return, you will start to feel the hatred of "kickbacks" (it's true).
----
A political party faction has three functions.
(1) Political activity collection function
(2) Ministerial manufacturing function
(3) Education function for new council members
And this time, the illegal (1) is just being uncovered.
As for (2) above, it may have served as a coordinating device for the dynamics within the vast political parties, but this will (probably) be reviewed after this incident.
The problem is (3), but I think creating such an educational institution would also suffice for this.
For example, a training period of approximately one year is also provided for those who pass the bar exam.
Successful candidates will learn knowledge and techniques related to legal practice that are commonly required for legal practice.
I think it would be sufficient to introduce a similar system for new members of Congress -- well, half of it would be on-the-job training since they would be doing their work as members of Congress.
------
First, a Member of Parliament is a professional who deliberates and creates laws.
Naturally, we expect them to develop that ability.
Since this is just the right opportunity, the following examination system should also be established to train new council members.
We don't need a member of Congress who can't respond to this level of content.
