When I was a college student at Kyoto, I lived in a super-local area (at the period. Now the area is very convenient), for example, the the last bus was coming at 3:40 p.m.

I took more than half hour to get a nearest convenience stores, so I had to have a motor-bike to get around to commute and to get foods against rains and snows.

The bike was my lifeline in the literature.

I don't remember how much I got traffic accident and was injured.

When I turned at a cross in a snow day, I toppled over and was blown off at an edge of the cross.

Generally speaking, driving a bike on snow roads is an aberrational action, except for reasons of "starving to death, breathing heavily with a high fever".

On last Saturday, the record snowfall was coming in Tokyo Metropolitan area, and many victims are now going on, despite of passing two days.

I think this morning should be the most dangerous.

Though the snow is melting in a flat town area, they becomes water and refreeze ice in a hill town.

This morning, I saw a few persons in a crowded in front of me on my commuter road.

I had forebodings about that.

There were a bike rolling on the road, several cars stuck, the man who seemed to be the bike owner, and several women who seemed to be trying to lift the bike up.

I am afraid that I came to an awkward situation.

I didn't want to relate to such an accident because I had some terrible troubles in these days.

However I tried to run away from the place as soon as possible, I felt painful for their gaze that expected my help.

It is no use acting as an unrelated person, so I asked the ladies to step back, stay the bile by my hand and gave him some advice.

"Shift into the first and, open the throttle slowly."

"Keep the bike vertical and move with slipping.

We could escape from the stuck place.

The driver asked me not to support any more, I stopped helping him, thought I knew it was still in dangerous condition.

However I had a feeling of both the man was crying and the bike was rolling again,

In addition, if the computer system take over the violent system like police and Japan Self-Defense Forces, I cannot do anything against the system. (The system will kill me soon)

My confidence is going to be just an illusion.

How much the cost that senior engineer's five hours working is that

it is said that about ten thousands yen including maintenance(office floor, PC, air conditioner and rewards, e.t.c) cost is needed. So in this case, the amount of lost of the company will be about fifty thousands yen.

If it is one hundred workers, the cost will be five millions yen.

If it is ten thousand workers, the cost will be five hundreds million yen.

In fact, I think that several times of the cost will be needed.

Of course, these "five millions yen", "five hundreds million yen" might be a necessary cost for the company, however, it can do no better than "zero cost" absolutely.

I have felt cold recently.

Especially now I am experimenting in the field (outdoor), so it's pretty tough

Before, I have never thought this case.

"Cold" would not have been directly linked to "tough".

Otherwise, I had not been a skiers.

I think that one of the causes is weight loss.

In particular, since the start of field experiments, the appetite has been considerably reduced due to tough work.

Weight loss also cuts off the muscles that are the source of heat.

This eliminates the resistance to the cold.

There is a heavy snowfall warning for the entire Kanto area.

Recently, there have been frequent warnings of typhoons, heavy rains, and guerrilla torrential rains.

And it's pretty accurate -- it seems to be getting more accurate every year.

I remember that I once did some research on how to forecast the weather, and I had the impression that 'this is difficult.

I'm not sure what kind of forecasting method they are using now, but I think they are basically using information from weather sensors set up all over the country and running supercomputers in real time.

However, miss predictions happen.

Nevertheless, weather forecasting can be done by using information from each base (temperature, pressure, and other current weather information) to calculate the equations of physics by force.

Then I wondered how they did "air raid warnings" during the Pacific War.

The danger of a bomb being dropped from overhead. This information is much more life-threatening than that of snow or typhoons.

I don't have to tell you how important this is.

(You will hear an air raid alarm.)

I found out that they were using (1) radar, (2) visual (at watchtowers), and (3) sound (by listening devices).

Radar, which "emits microwaves and observes the reflected waves," was able to detect bombers up to 100 kilometers away even back then.

However, it was only just before the end of the war (1944) that experiments for practical use were successful, and the accuracy was poor, making mass production difficult.

Also, it seems that the Japanese military (especially the navy) was reluctant to develop radar because it would 'only let the enemy know their position.

More than that, it seems that the people of our country had little awareness of "air raids".

In the first place, the period of air raids was quite short compared to the entire duration of the war (about four years).

Based on Japan lost the war on August 15, 1945, I calculated that one year is 1.0.

The first air raid on Naha was on October 10, 1944, with a -0.85, the first air raid on Kagoshima was -0.41, the first air raid on Kurashiki was -0.32, and after that, from -0.12 (50 days ago), bombings continued almost every day all over Japan.

There were only a handful of radars installed in Japan (probably only in the imperial capital (Tokyo)) to counter enemy attacks that could appear anywhere.

"Air raid alerts" that rely only on our eyes and ears.

If there was a 15-meter high watchtower, the logical visibility distance was 15 kilometers.

In addition, let's assume that they had human eyesight plus binoculars, and that they were blessed with extremely good weather, and that half of this distance, about 7 km, was the distance at which they could detect enemy aircraft.

Assuming the fighter's cruising speed is 200 kilometers -- the enemy plane was spotted 126 seconds ago.

Even if they estimated that the alert procedure took one minute, and the arrival time at the destination was three times that time.

"The most optimistic figure for the time between air raid warning and bombing is 5.3 minutes(by Fermi)."

Including preparation, the distance a person can escape in "five minutes" is probably less than one kilometer.

Of course, this is much longer than the "few seconds" of the current Earthquake Early Warning System.

They might have been able to buy enough time to escape to the air-raid shelter, but if a bomb hit us, they would have no chance of survival.

Even so, when the "air raid alarm" was issued, actions such as "turn off the lights" and "escape to an air-raid shelter" were well known to all.

Nowadays, there is a system called the National Instantaneous Warning System (J-Alert), but frankly speaking, I didn't know what action to take, so I did some research.

I will keep this in mind as it was mentioned here.

My pages are visited by roughly 4,000 to 5,000 people daily, which has not changed for the past 2 to 3 years (PV is about 1.5 to 2 times that number).

My writing is unique, and the content is harsh (a collection of solid criticism and sarcasm).

It takes a lot of strength, even for me, to keep reading this every day.
