特に大学関係者のプレゼンに、「文字だけ」の資料が多いです。
For example, college researchers is apt to make character presentation material without picture.
大きな文字を書いて、読みやすくしている『つもり』になっているようですが、サボっているのは見え見えです。
Though they are about to make their materials easier to read, it is obvious that they want to cut corners.
また、「デザインとして表現すると、考えが限定的になってしまう」という主張もあるようですが、その主張は二重の意味でナンセンスなのです。
Some persons tell that design restricts expansion of technical thoughts, but this is a nonsense as a double meaning.
デザインというのは、技術の具現化の一番最初のフェーズですから、デザインのない技術というものは存在できません。
Design is coming at the first phrase of technical realization. So there is no technology without design phrase.
そもそも「抽象的な技術的思想の創作を保護する」ことを目的とする特許においてですら、『実施例』の記載が義務づけられています。
Above all, the purpose of patent rights is to protect creations of obstacle technology thoughts, however, practical example should be attached in patent applications.
これは、特許法が、「デザインを作り、具体化して、実施可能なものが、最低1つはないと、権利(特許権)はやらん!」と宣言しているということです。
This means, patent law declares "I don't give you any patent right without specified application with designs and method. You should open at least one example"

―― デザインすらできない技術的思想なんぞ、何の役に立つ! ボケ!
"Don't be dumb! Technology without design ? What is on earth it?"
という、当然の話に落ちます。

もちろん、方法の発明(アルゴリズム)とか、製品コンセプトなど、デザインしにくいものがあるもの事実です。
Of course, I know well that some object is difficult to realize as a design, like method invention(algorithm) or product concept.
しかし、それらのものでさえ、デザインとして表現する方法はあるのです。
But even if that, we can make them as design.
その一つの手法が「擬人化」です。
One of them is "personification".
