「江端さんは、大人気ないですよ」

"Ebata-san. You are childish."

と、後輩から良く言われます。

My junior colleagues often blame me.

後輩：「江端さんの著作をツイッターで非難する人がいたとしても、きちんと調査して調べ込んで、しかも、特許ロジックで叩き上げられた江端さんに、勝てる人なんかいる訳がないじゃないですか」

"If there is a person who blames your works using twitter, who wins you? You have investigated a lot of information with patent logical minds?”

江端：「いや、それは誤解だ。私は勝ち負けではなく、単にツイッターを使って、読者に質問しているだけで・・・」

"It is your misunderstanding. I don't care winning or losing. I just want to ask a question to readers...."

後輩：「と言いながら、実は、腹立てているでしょう？」

"But you get angry, don't you."

江端：「まあ・・まったくない、とは言わないけど。でもね。これまでだって、良い方向に議論を発展させたこともあるし!、良い共著ができたことだってあるし!」

I wouldn't say "never mind", but I had some good debates with guys, and made good collaboration works too.

後輩：「でも、きっかけは『腹立つ』でしょ？」

"But with as a start, you get angry with their comments indeed."

私は、ちょっと考えてから言いました。

江端：「そりゃね。私は、浅学で、狭量で、卑怯だからね。でも、相田みつを先生も言っているじゃないか。『やられたら、やりかえすよ。だって人間だもの』って」

後輩：「江端さん。相田みつをは、そんなギラギラしたこと、一言も言っていません」
